| Recently ten quail came strolling through our yard. They stayed an hour or so,especially enjoying our bird feeders. Actually, my husband captured only nine and a half in this picture. |

Quail are noted for their power of camouflage. It is very difficult to see this quail. He blends in well with the background, a very important quality for protection. |
