This last rose of summer is one my family called the Mamie Keith rose after the lady who gave it to my mother. I have been acquainted with it for at least fifty years, and it has been around much longer. It is sturdy, straight-stemmed, and very pretty. This rose starts blooming early in the spring and is just now finishing up.
